Téo Beaumé

BIO

Téo Beaumé is a music composer, arranger, and orchestrator from Lancashire, North West England. Growing up in his family’s restaurant, he spent countless hours watching classic films on VHS, an early fascination that sparked a lifelong passion for cinema and ultimately led him to film scoring.

Téo collaborates closely with London-based composer Maxwell Sterling. He worked as assistant composer on the Universal Pictures production Hamlet, directed by Aneil Karia and starring Riz Ahmed, and later worked as music editor on BBC Film production Straight Circle, which premiered at Venice International Film Critics’ Week (Settimana Internazionale della Critica) and won Best Film.

His collaborations include scoring Crianza, directed by AFI alumni Julia Maixer and Emily Gularte, an intimate drama exploring the relationship between a mother and daughter set among the Spanish vineyards. The film received recognition at the Toronto International Women Film Festival. He is also collaborating with AFI graduate Becca E. Davis on her debut short, What Did Sofia Do to Aliya?

Téo composed the original score for Rob Worsey’s feature All This Time, a vampire drama that marks his first feature-length film score. He also wrote the music for Seeking Sugar, directed by Sam Coppola, and Viscera, directed by David Venghaus Jr., a dystopian sci-fi short which was selected for the 24th Beverly Hills Film Festival.
